“The Bellagio fountain is iconic. It’s known around the world, and so isGame of Thrones,” Djawadi told theAssociated Press. “So, I think putting them together and seeing the music choreographed to a fountain like that is quite the spectacle.”

As the Bellagio’s water jets dance along to “Winter Is Here,” light projections depict key elements and figures from the show — without giving away any hints at the new season. The show starts with what looks like the Wall, a colossal ice fortification at the core ofGOT’s storyline.

Silhouettes of dragons and the Night King are projected onto the wall of water, as well as the show’s logo, before the jets move to create other iconic symbols, like the Iron Throne and a crown.

“We didn’t just want to portray literally scenes fromGame of Thrones, not like a teaser or a preview of season eight,” CEO of WET Design Mark Fuller told theAssociated Press.“We want to bring you the emotion.”

And the heat.

The last few seconds of the display show the final scene of season 7, projecting the moment when an undead dragon breaks the Wall as he breathes fire, literally setting the fountain on fire.

The full display is set to run every night until the seasons premiere April 13 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
