Jeremy Renneris reflecting on his life this past year through song.
The Marvel star, 52, sharedon Instagramlast week that he’s releasing new music with a project titledLove and Titanium, chronicling “different milestones” he has achieved since hisJan. 1 snowplow accident.
“A collection of music we wrote about different milestones in my journey of recovery since Jan 1st this year,” the actor wrote. “Love and Titaniumhas been painful, deeply healing, and ultimately cathartic for me to create. I hope I get the courage to share with you all."
Renner teased the cover art, which was an emblem featuring an engraving of project’s title. He covered most of the artwork with a heart emoji, and added the text “soon” at the top of the image.
He tagged several people in the post, includingDiane Sawyer, who was the first interviewerRenner publicly spoke to about his accident.
While the public might know the two-time Oscar nominee best for his acting roles, Renner has also established himself as a musician with the release of several singles since 2018 and two albums he dropped in 2020.
Most recently, he wrote and sang “Rebel on the Road” for the soundtrack of his Disney+ reality seriesRennervations, which premiered in April.

Renner previouslyspoke to PEOPLEin 2019 about his musical beginnings, revealing that he was initially drawn to music before acting and taught himself how to play the piano, guitar and drums at a young age.
“My family was my first love, and then music,” he revealed at the time. “Acting came into my brain around 20. Music has always been my first love as far as something other than my family.”
TheAvengersactor also shared that he makes music in his studio at home in Los Angeles, telling PEOPLE that the one thing that “makes [music] greater is that I get to stay here in my home and do it and get to be around the people I love.”
BeforeLove and Titanium, Renner revealed to PEOPLE in 2019 that “there’s a bunch of music written, and that’s a future thing. I’m happy to share music now, which I wasn’t before.”
