Last week, Jennifer marked the new year with acarousel of photosthat included “a few of the moments that made 2023 so memorable," included a family portrait taken after Jenniferannounced the birthof her first child with husbandNayel Nassarin March.
Another highlight was theBill and Melinda Gates Foundation’sGoalkeepers Foundationevent, which all three women attended.
“Can’t wait to see what 2024 brings!” Jennifer wrote.

“Hope everyone got some memorable photos during the holidays,” French Gates wrote. “You never know when they’ll come back around.”
Ahead of the holidays, the philanthropist and her eldest daughter shared some of their favorite Christmas memories whilemaking some new ornaments.
“We always left out milk and cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer,” Jennifer, whograduated from Columbia Universitywith her master’s degree in public health last year, said in thesweet clip.
The new mom went on to share that she loves singing carols. “We are amazing, we were meant to go into the music industry and we ended up somewhere else," she quipped.
Part of what made the year special for French Gates was “just being able to delight in every little thing” that her granddaughter Leila does.
“It’s so incredible to see her grow and so fun to be able to experience it with you too,” Jennifer said, as her mom agreed that was the “greatest joy of the year for sure.”
