TheBush twinsare releasing a new children’s book, and it’s perfect for any “mommies-to-be.”

On the Monday, Dec. 9 segment ofThe Today Show,Jenna Bush Hagerrevealed that she and her sisterBarbara Pierce Bushhad written another children’s book, entitledI Loved You First.

TheToday with Hoda & Jennaco-host offered a glimpse into the message and meaning behind her “really special” upcoming book.

She continued, “I wrote it with my sister after she had just had her little babe, Edward Finn. So it kind of is an ode to what it feels like to be a mom.”

Bush Hager and Pierce Bush have written four picture books together in total. Their first book,Sisters First,was published in 2019 and its sequelLove Comes Firstfollowed in 2023.The Superpower Sisterhoodwas released in 2022. All three of their books for children embrace the idea of sisterhood and family.

Their newest publication, which marks a thematic shift from sisterhood to motherhood, is set to be released in March 2025, Bush Hager said.

The twins also co-authoredSisters First: Stories from Our Wild and Wonderful Life,their 2018 memoir of their experiences growing up in the public eye.

Bush Hager and Pierce Bush were just 6 years old when their grandfather,George H. W. Bush, was elected the 41st President of the United States. They were 18 when their father,George W. Bush, was elected to the same position.

The sisters, who both live in New York City, lead busy lives but they always find room for a sisters' trip — their book tour — every few years, they toldThe New York Timesin November 2023.

OnTODAY,Bush Hager confirmed she and her sister wouldn’t be disrupting the tradition.

“We’re going to go on book tour and I hope you guys will get this for any mommies-to-be,” she said.
