Bill Murrayand his originalGhostbusterscostars are back to ghost-busting.

A new trailer forGhostbusters: Frozen Empiredebuted Monday, throwing it back to the 1984 original film and continuing the story of the Spengler family, carrying the torch for late actorHarold Ramis' Dr. Egon Spengler.

Murray, 73, reprises his role as Dr. Peter Venkman, alongside costarsDan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts.

At one point in the trailer, Murray (who also worked with Rudd in last year’sAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania) and the team take on a giant paranormal creature with horns, and he jokes, “Heads up: Tall, dark and horny at 12 o’clock.”

According to a synopsis, “the Spengler family returns to where it all started — the iconic New York City firehouse — to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level.”

“But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.”

Afterlife,set in Oklahoma, was the first film in theGhostbustersfranchise to take place outside of the Big Apple. In that one, Grace and Wolfhard play the grandchildren of Ramis' Egon, while Coon is Egon’s daughter Callie. Rudd plays the kids' science teacher and Ghostbusters fan Gary Grooberson.

Aykroyd, 71, toldNewsweekthatFrozen Empireis unlike the scale of the previous films.

“We’ve never done this to Manhattan before,” he said. “There’s a historical base to it that’s quite beautiful. We took full advantage of CGI technology but we also, where we could, kept old-school effects alive.”

The actor said they handle serious subject matter “more emotionally.” He added, “All that, along with some great scares and effects. It’s really going to work.”

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empireis in theaters March 22.
