Hopefully by now , you ’ve curb out the gorgeous stop - motion film Coraline . And now , a Modern collection of Coraline concept art sheds some light on how these characters descend into 3D life .
It ’s somewhat entertaining to see how all the delightfully eery puppets from Coraline change and grew from their original concept art , peculiarly the Other Mother . TheCharacter Designblog has a lovely audience with the artist Shannon Tindle , where he talks a little about working on the moving-picture show and how he ’s very glad with Mr. B ’s end final result ( and so are we ) .
Careful – one of these image has a au naturel Ms. Spink in it who is , NSFW ( but she ’s still petite in the picture itself ) . The artists they used on this flick were all pretty glorious in their own right , and I ’m incredibly glad that they team up to bringNeil Gaiman‘s study to life .
