This workweek on FlashForward , the serial publication settles into its “ one bad episode to fall out every great one ” rhythm , everyone wonders ( again ) whether they ’ve by all odds seen the hereafter , and Charlie from Lost demonstrate why he ’s a crappy scoundrel . Spoilers !
It seems that every week I get a Friday off , the previous night ’s FlashForward will be good . Last week ’s episode at long last had someone seek to change everything by kill themselves , thereby see that their FF wo n’t issue forth rightful . lamentably , this week ’s episode struggled to play catch - up to what that stand for .
Aaron ’s daughter ’s takings seems to open up another subterfuge subplot for the show , as she excuse that she was ambushed by some Blackwater - esque “ good guys ” in Afghanistan , which pass to her leg being blown off and presumption of her death ( The leg , by the way , was the explanation for how the cadaver they disinter originally in the time of year had her desoxyribonucleic acid , which seems … unlikely , to say the least . Did they only test the pegleg for DNA ? ) . I hope that this subplot in reality connect with the rest of the show , because otherwise , what ’s the point ? There ’s too much going on with the eternal rest of the show for us to really care about a completely separate plot about corrupt warzones that could be ( and likely has been ) done better elsewhere .
Meanwhile , Charlie ’s apparently - hypothecate - to - be - bad guy Simon continue to let down with almost every setting he ’s in . This calendar week , after Lloyd state … someone ( his fellow scientist ? ) that they have to own up to having caused the FFs in the first place , Simon tells him that they ca n’t , and then surreally decides that they ’ll trifle card to resolve whether or not to go public . A stunned idea , you cogitate ? Well , yes , but it gets better : Lloyd win , as you ’d expect , and then accept to Simon that he cheated , and Simon does n’t even say that he want a replay , or that Lloyd ca n’t go public , he ’s just “ Oh , you sly Beelzebub . ” Simon , seriously : What the fuck kind of defective guy lets himself by conned , and then does n’t even get upset when he ’s tell that he ’s been rook ? You ’re a disappointment to your vicious brethren .
