It’s mind over matter for mom-to-beAmy Schumer.
The actress andGrowingcomedian shared a hilarious video to her Instagram account on Wednesday, where she gave a cheery tutorial to other expectant moms showing themhow to put their socks onat this stage in pregnancy.
“If you’re pregnant, like I am, and you want to put your socks on, it’s easy. First, the left foot,” says Schumer, 37, before crossing her left leg over her right thigh to get the first half of the job done relatively quickly. “Okay — a littlediscomfort but not really a problem.”
“And then the right foot. You just … it’s easy,” she continues with a smile, attempting in vain to lift her right leg up but resorting to reaching down as far as she can toward her foot with the sock instead.

“You put your toe in … and then you try it from behind. And then you just kind of … slowly will the sock up your foot!” the actress says, bringing her right leg up onto the bed andbeginning to put her sock onone-handed from that angle, eventually succeeding. “Andthat‘s pregnant.”

From sharing details abouther battle with hyperemesisto general discomfort and beyond, Schumer has been open about the difficulties of pregnancy in social media posts, interviews and her new Netflix specialGrowing.
“When it comes to pregnancy, you’resupposed to always be stretchingand using any surfaces even if you’re in a FedEx,” the star joked in an Instagram Story video Wednesday before leaning over a counter inside the store and bending her knees.
“Wherever! Wherever,” she insisted following protests from the person behind the camera.
Schumerannounced her pregnancyon social media in October. This will be the first child for the actress and husbandChris Fischer, who tied the knotin February of last year.

And no visit to the Crescent City is complete without a trip to Café du Monde for a bag of beignets and a consequent face full of powdered sugar — the latter of which theTrainwreckstarput on display with no shame, from her mouth to her cheeks and forehead.
“You never know when a craving’s gonna come on, and there’s no better city than New Orleans,” Schumer replied.
