Two United States ’ Air Force F-15 Eagle fighters launched into Canadian air space to intercept a Korean Air Boeing 777 on April 10 , 5:30 Pacific Time . The planer was going to Seoul when it receive a turkey threat briefly after takeoff from Vancouver , British Columbia .
As a result , the North American Aerospace Defense Command ( NORAD ) regularize the two scrapper jets to stop the 777 and see it to another destination , the Canadian Forces Base Comox , also in British Columbia . After September 11 , NORAD is in complaint of guard the North American air space against possible airborne terrorist terror in addition to ascertain the skies for Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles and any kind of military atmosphere attacks .
